There is plenty to do year round, with nearby 14,000 foot tall peaks to climb, fishing, hiking, biking, jeeping and four wheeling, hunting, skiing, snowboarding and snowmobiling to name just a few. Its a great place to host an event, have a hut trip with good friends or just get away with the family.
The Bonnie Belle Cabin can be accessed year round. Typically May through October access is by 4×4 vehicle, 4 wheeler, motorcycle, or on foot. In the winter months of November through April access is by foot, snowmobile or even helicopter through Silverton Mountain. Please check the Colorado Avalanche info Center before traveling to the cabin in the winter for the latest weather and avalanche forecast.
